"THE BUTTERFLY" By- Pavel Friedman

The Butterfly story is mainly about the author telling a story of how he was in the Nazi Ghetto. He was kept prisoner and he couldn’t get out no matter how hard he tried. The reason he quoted “there are no Butterfly’s in the Ghetto,” is because he is a good person in a bad place, I guess Butterfly’s are suppose to be good. That’s what I had gotten from the quote. I guess this story can be my life story, I represent the Butterfly that’s trapped in my own kind of ghetto, and I guess the ghetto is my body. I guess the Butterfly is my spirit trying to escape the hell that’s in me, The butterfly is cutting my body just trying to escape, but it’s just making every thing worse, I guess the only way to get rid of the Ghetto is to die…………..
